Built in 1915, this barn was moved here in December 2017. My husband and I then gutted the inside, keeping as much as the original frame as possible. Since the barn was originally built with a wall splitting the inside running north & south, we have 2 sides, his side and my side. My side, the horse side, contains 3 box stalls and a large 12 x 8, heated tack room, room for feed tubs and access to the hay loft. It also has a North door exiting into the attached corrals. We also use the two box stalls as a shelter when we need but connecting both of the box stall doors (blocking off access to the rest of the bar) & leaving the back north door open for horses to access it if they choose to. Everything was built by my amazing husband from the doors, wire hay racks and wire guards & the tack room.
His side ... determined not to be used for the horses, he has not yet decided what it will be used for but in the meantime its a great place to store all the horse blankets & arena obstacles :)
